I bought this game from the same collector the Big Strike came from.
This game is a Japanese re-import. Contrary to some of the horror stories about the condition of re-imports, this one is in very good condition.
I converted the game ROM's back to English. The voltage had already been converted to 110VAC. the coin door is still the single chute export door, set to 100 Yen. There was also an extra fan in the cabinet, that I removed. (This is a peculiarity of Japanese exports documented in Clays Data East Repair Guide.
The cabinet and playfield are in very good shape. The backglass has one wear spot, on Bullwinkle's nose. This is typical of almost all R & B's, and is caused by the pivot of the Hat Trick Arm.
I shopped the game, changing the rubber to white. I changed the flipper rubber color. I also replaced the condom covered bulbs with colored bulbs on the spin-and-win wheel.
This is probably one of the better integrated themes in this period of Data East. I grew up on Rocky and Bullwinkle, and the voices give me a smile every time I play the game. Some find the "Wrong Hat" line by Rocky repetitive. I do not. The hat rick animation is the icing on the cake.
