Killer List of Video Games Listing for Monaco GP.
I got this game in return for shopping a Williams Firepower for a fellow collector.
The game worked, but had a few issues. The displays strobed, and some of the marquee lights were not working. I wound up replacing all the lamp sockets in the marquee, and adding a filter cap to the 5 volt line to fix the display strobe. (There is no evidence in the game or schematics, that a filter cap was used for this 5V DC line. Very odd.) The game should be recapped, but I haven't got around to it yet.
To provide a free play mode, I moved the service credit switch to the instrument panel.
Some of the art work is missing from one side of the cabinet. There are no repros that I know of.
This is a simple but fun game. Very early video game. No memory, almost no settings, and no central processor. All hard coded TTL logic.
8/1/09 Update: The Monaco has been moved to my office to help make room in the game room for LOTR. I don't need two driving games in my limited space.
