This game is the only one I ever bought off of E-bay.
This was my second game. That officially made it a collection(more than one).
This game was mostly working, with a few minor issues. Cosmetically it was in poor shape. The cabinet was good, but the backglass had flaking in the reds. The playfield was grainy, with wear spots by the kickout holes. The plastics were cracked.
Over the years since I bought it, I've managed to upgrade most everything. I found a mint backglass from Lloyd at Coin-op Warehouse in Maryland. I got new plastics from PBR. and a better condition used playfield from Donal Murphy. I actually bought the playfield for the mechanical spare parts. It wasn't until some time later that the thought occurred to me that the playfield itself was in better shape than the one I had, and I could attempt a playfield swap (my first). I also added hot flipper coils.
Game play on this game is one of the better mid 70's Gottlieb's. The combination of drops, kickouts, bonus multiplier tied to rollovers, and the dual in-lanes makes for great play.
