This was a non working project game that was part of a package deal including my Lost World.
This game required extensive work:
- MPU and sound board work
- Cabinet and playfield touch up
- Missing plastics and spinner
- Flippers and others mechs needed repair
- Coin door and leg repaint
The end result came out very nice, given what I started with. There was previous touch-up work done on the backglass that was poorly done. There was no way to undo it and try to do a better job.
This game has a layout that is different than other contemporary games from other manufacturers, but is typical of Stern during this period. The art work leaves a bit to be desired. Its obvious Stern didn't want to pay royalties.
I had this game about a year, and sold it to another local collector. I never intended this game as a keeper, but always intended to flip it. The lesson learned was not to overdo the repair work on a low value game, unless you intend to keep it. I probably lost money on the deal.
